sports:Togo target uganda double

The Sparrow Hawks of Togo are hungry to stop Uganda Cranes when the two teams face-off on Wednesday in Lome in a 2015 Afcon qualifier. After their 1-0 win in Kampala last weekend which brought their 2015 Afcon qualification campaign back on track, the Togolese are hungry to pick a second win over the Cranes to out of bottom place in Group E. Tchakala Tchanile, Togo’s Head coach told Supersport.com after the game in Kampala that although they did not play so well, they managed to get the vital three points. “We hope to be at our best in Lome and take charge of the game,” said Tchanile. Skipper and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor however says the match will be very tricky because Uganda will also be out to try and prove a point. “We need to keep focused as a team because it’s still a long way and we should not be taken away by the win in Uganda,” added the former Arsenal and Manchester City striker in the English Premier League. Uganda will however miss the services of skipper Andrew Mwesigwa who will be serving suspension after accumulating two yellow cards in the campaign. SC Victoria University defender Murushid Juuko has been called in to boost the team. Tanzanian based striker Emmanuel Okwi who came on as a substitute last Saturday has also been dropped. “We are going to fight in Lome because we need to get something from that match,” said coach Milution ‘Micho’ Sredojevic. South African based striker Geoffrey Massa who features for University of Pretoria will captain the Cranes who are second in Group B behind the Black Stars of Ghana
